It is a wonderful feeling knowing that when, or if, you have chosen to 'give up,' God will not judge you, nor leave you. He is there for you no matter what. He will not reject you for making the 'wrong' decision because He knows human weaknesses. Trust Him. Lean on Him. You think you are in control of situations, but you are not. Letting go - is an empowering place to be. Try it. Inspired by this morning's devotion. Jeremiah 31:25

So, you're trying to figure something out. You're anxious about a possible new relationship or an existing one; concerned about the health of a loved one; wondering if you're going to get that promotion; undecided about the next chapter in your life? Instead of putting that pressure on yourself, redirect your thoughts to God. He has the road map for your journey, and it will only be revealed in His time. When you focus on Him, the tension will decrease, and peace will take over. Trust in God ~ Inspired from this morning's devotional from Jesus Calling ~ Helen's Life Nugget.

Some days come with unexpected possibilities, new opportunities to take stock of where we are and where we want to be. Sometimes the opportunities present themselves positively; filled with joy, excitement, and potential. Other times they come cloaked in sadness, confusion, or unwelcome change. God is writing our stories as part of His larger story, positioning us where He needs us. His timing may catch us unexpectedly, but it is His timing, nevertheless. Where is He calling you to trust His timing today?

Our world is so polluted and self-serving that most people find it easier and safer to just go with the flow (the masses). Similar to water aerobics, your body prefers to swim with the current, but the full effect and impact is when you go against the current. Yes, it's hard, at first, but after you practice over and over, your strength builds up and it's not as difficult as when you started - and you're getting the results you desire. It's like learning to totally trust and put your hope in God. Chaos, clutter and pollution make it hard at first, but after time, your strength (faith and trust) builds up and you've positioned yourself just where God wants you to be. ~ September 15, 2015
So, the enemy had a plan in his playbook. It was to take you out...by any means necessary. But you're still here. You're still standing. And now he's perplexed. And your light is shining brighter than ever. The playbook didn't include the power of a mighty God we serve, who always looks out for and takes care of His children. Claim your victory but give God all the Glory! Because He is not through with you yet. Inspired by my devotional this morning. Psalm 112. May it bless you.
